With Marvel's Agents of Shield returning next week after being substituted yesterday for Marvel: 75 Years, From Pulp to Pop!, Marvel's Twitter account released a new promotional image for next week's episode titled, "The Writing on the Wall". Most likely this image is portraying Ward trying to open up to Skye, after his dreadful Hydra betrayal. Or could he possibly be plotting against her? What do you think? Sound off below with your thoughts!

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., or simply Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., is an American television series created for ABC by Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen, based on the Marvel Comics organization S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division), a fictional peacekeeping and spy agency in a world populated with superheroes and numerous supernatural phenomena. The series is produced by ABC Studios, Marvel Television, and Mutant Enemy Productions, with Jed Whedon, Tancharoen, and Jeffrey Bell serving as showrunners on the series.

Exactly, F*ck Ward. No redemption. All he should get is a ruthless death.

Betting on Skye being the MCU version of Daisy Johnson.

Ward definitely needs to stay evil. Crazy bastard, I like him a lot.

Seriously, all problems aside this show has become the one I'm looking forward to most each week. Wouldn't have guessed that after S1 was over (Flash is a close second, though). Agent Carter should be fun as well!

yea what Omega said....

I really DON'T want Ward to somehow be "helping" Coulson or Skye....even by force or anything like that.

His ass needs to stay evil...maybe even give him some powers or something.

Also...something got me thinking last night while watching that special...when will Agent 13 show up???

SHE WAS ON THE DAMN SET!!!

SO GLAD there wasn't an episode this week. All night long, the Marvel 75 years special kept getting interrupted by my local news giving me updates on political races that were never in doubt in the first place.

Shut up, stupid real world, superheroes are on!

Im cool with him being kept around...I just don't get how anyone especially Coulson or Skye could buy any of his bullshit anymore....I's lose a lot of respect for those characters and the show if they ever decide to trust him again...not that he or any character doesn't deserve redemption...it just doesn't make sense for them to allow him back into the fold of what they're doing in shield after the way he betrayed them.

Ward should only be helping Coulson and May out when it benefits him. No exceptions!

Ward is the only interesting character on the show. They better not kill him off. It pissed me off when they killed off Garrett last season.

But no @Melkaticox I don't HATE Agents Of Shield I just don't think it's a great show. And it's not something that holds my interest or excites me.
