"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." returns for a dynamic, action-packed second half of season two, TUESDAY, MARCH 3 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. After discovering an alien city with ties to his resurrection, Coulson and his team destroyed it before the forces of Hydra could claim its secrets, eliminating the villainous Whitehall (Reed Diamond) in the process. But new threats to the world have arisen, including Skye's father, Cal (Kyle McLachlan), who now seeks retribution against Coulson for stealing his revenge against Whitehall; a disturbing alliance between former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Ward (Brett Dalton) and Agent 33; the enigmatic Raina (Ruth Negga), who struggles with her transformation into something inhuman by the alien Obelisk and seeks vengeance; and Skye (Chloe Bennet), who developed mysterious new powers from the Obelisk but whose lack of experience with her new abilities may threaten the safety of those she loves. Meanwhile, Bobbi (Adrianne Palicki) and Mack (Henry Simmons) begin the next phase of a plan which seems to have grave repercussions for Coulson and his team, who are unaware that there's another mysterious force moving against them. And as Hunter (Nick Blood) is forced to make the biggest choice of his life, Coulson will find his mission threatened by this shocking endgame. In the midseason premiere, "Epidemic," Coulson's team must deal with the consequences of their war with Hydra as shocking revelations threaten to tear them apart, and Hydra makes a dangerous move that may involve a traitor in S.H.I.E.L.D.'s midst.

@ManCalledSting if you ever decide to give it another chance theres an episode in season one called tracks. If you start there the show is pretty much non stop with every episode being both interesting and necessary up through the current episodes

People with "Earthquake" powers have always been useless, unless you are a landscaper.

Also any find it odd how Skye starts out a programmer gets inducted into SHIELD as it goes to shit then gets combat/ weapons training and just happens to find out she has super powers. Seems like her character arc is pretty hard to believe.

"Seems like her character arc is pretty hard to believe."

Her arc is somewhat hard to believe? Well, I don't want to point to pretty much any other superhero origin story, but...

Why would Hawkeye appearing in the show make it better? He's the most boring Avenger, both him and BW are yawn fests in their stories so far. This show isn't good, guys. Maybe for a comic book show its watchable, but when you compare it to the greats like The Wire, Game of Thrones, House of Cards, Homeland, etc etc...it just doesn't even have a blip of quality comparison. Its not even as good as 2nd or third tier shows like Vikings or Black Sails, etc etc.
Granted, its not even trying to ascend to those ranks or take itself as seriously..which is fine. It knows what it is, and it is happy to be there. But when I hear morons gush over it like it is the 2nd coming of Lost or something...I mean come on. You're not that stupid or blind, are you?

How many months does it take her to get to Ward / May's level? LMAO. Bruce Wayne had years of training. I'm just saying it is strange how she can go to stone cold killer in only a few months.

@MarTooth
To me it seems like they made the road for her to move up a little bit easy while superior SHIELD agents were getting killed off without having any kind of fighting chance. Skye has had plot saving her on numerous occasions and the character seems to be moving up the ranks like the star trek cadets in the reboot. I think it is that I just don't care for the character all that much. I'd rather see other Agents take lead for awhile. For the most part all the SHIELD agents seem determined to dedicate their lives to skye.
