Hey everyone!

After making articles on ranking the MCU and DC Comics films, I decided to create a new one for the comic book movie villains of all film studios.  I narrowed down the list to 40 villains, and I chose the 40 from the most popular or most seen comic book movies.  So more obsure villains such as Nuclear Man from Superman IV or Howard Saint from The Punisher unfortunately did not make the list.

40 options is a lot to rank, (I know even 14 was hard to rank for the MCU films), so I suggest just putting a 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5 by each villain. Your all time favorites will be 1s, your least favorite of alls will be 5s, the average ones will be 3s, etc.  There should be roughly 8 villains per number, but you do not need to have it be exact at all.  You can put as many or few for each number.

After everyone has voted, the ranks of each villain will be added up.  The villan with the lowest summed number will be the favorite and the villain with the highest summed number will be the least favorite.  To ensure accurate results, you must assign each villain a number.  Leaving a villain out is equivalent to ranking it 0, which would place it above first place.

The 40 villains are as follows:

DCEU
Zod (Shannon)
Lex Luthor (Eisenberg)
Incubus/Enchantress

MCU
Iron Monger
Abomination
Whiplash
Loki
Red Skull
Mandarin/Killian

Ra’s Al Ghul
The Joker (Ledger)
