The uber talented Chris Samnee (read my 2013 interview with him here) did a warm up sketch, imagining what the Netflix Daredevil cowl will look like. Is this the direction you hope the Drew Goddard superhero drama will take?

Drew Pearce breaks down an obscure easter egg in All Hail the King with MTV. "I think it's definitely worth looking up the young prisoner that asks Trevor to do an impression of the Mandarin. It's definitely worth people keeping an eye on as a character. What you can't quite see is that there's a tattoo by his eye that isn't a teardrop, as one might normally expect, but is actually a tiny chess pawn tattoo." That actor, Allen Maldonado, is listed as Fletcher Heggs, an obscure Iron Man villain called The Knight who was a one-time stooge for Obadiah Stane.

They're going for a more armored look. That lets me know this Daredevil will not be as refined as he is currently.

i think the tone we are getting we the daredevil show is the current mark waid series which is really great but they have said that these shows will show amore gritty side to the universe and plus drew goddard is a HUGE daredevil fan so hopefully he pulls it off, the iron fist one is most likley going to take influence from immortal iron fist and i love that book so yeah awesome....EVERYTHING IS AWESOME!!

im just excited man, regardless of what you felt about the film last year(i thought they were good-really good) anyway just exciting times ahead for us superhero fans, we get CAP,SPIDEY,XMEN AND GUARDIANS THIS YEAR, NEXT YEAR WE GET THE NETFLIX SHOWS, ANT MAN, AVENGERS AGE OF ULTRON, FF AND THEN 2016, BATMAN VS SUPERMAN, TASM 3 AND XMEN APOCALYPSE

daredevil and iron fist are great martial artists, hopefully we get some great choreography, netflix is known for hriing an dgetting some major talent for their shows
