HIT MONKEY: Check Out A First Look At The Upcoming Animated Series Coming To Hulu This November

Another leftover from the Marvel Television era, Hit-Monkey is coming to Disney+ this November, and we now have a first look at the animated series from Josh Gordon and Will Speck. Check it out here...

When Marvel Television was still a thing, an entire slate of animated projects were in the works for Hulu. Then, Disney+ came along and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige usurped Jeph Loeb and put the likes of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier and What If...? into development.

There are some leftovers from that era, though, and following M.O.D.O.K.'s release earlier this year, we're getting Hit Monkey on November 17.

We're expecting Josh Gordon and Will Speck's series to also debut with relatively little fanfare, and there's a good reason the show is being dumped on Hulu (had things panned out, we'd have eventually seen an event series dubbed The Offenders featuring the likes of Hit Monkey, Howard the Duck, Tigra, and Dazzler). Now, we finally have a first look.

Shared by Entertainment Weekly, the image comes with a few new pieces of intel, including the fact that the show will revolve around "a Japanese snow macaque whose clan meets a stranded hitman, Bryce, and nurses him back to health. But when Bryce bites the dust, it's up to the titular simian (guided by Bryce's ghost) to follow in his assassin footsteps and seek vengeance."

Hit Monkey has the potential to be a lot of fun, and the animation style looks pretty good. Even if it's a hit, chances are there's no way a second season will happen, so fingers crossed it doesn't end on a cliffhanger!

Check out this first look at the series below:
