Netflix has debuted a full trailer for the fourth season of its Emmy-nominated Karate Kid spinoff, Cobra Kai, which is set to hit the streaming service on December 31.
In the season 3 finale, Kreese (Martin Kove) turned to a mysterious individual for help after Johnny (William Zabka) and Danny (Ralph Machio) put their differences aside and joined forces. There was a lot of speculation that the person on the other end of the line was Karate Kid III villain Terry Silver, and sure enough, Thomas Ian Griffith (ponytail and all) is set to reprise the role for season 4.
Silver was an old war buddy of Kreese's, and the original financier of the Cobra Kai dojo. The character appeared in flashbacks during season 3, thanking Kreese for saving his life and promising to be "there for him" for the rest of his life. "Terence" is initially reluctant to return to his old ways, but as this latest teaser confirms, he ultimately relents.
The footage also reveals that even though Daniel and Johnny have agreed to team-up, they clash once again after realizing that they have very different methods of training their students. Is another old rivalry about to be renewed?
