In Ahsoka's penultimate episode, "Dreams and Madness," we caught up with Hera Syndulla as the former Rebel faced a New Republic grilling after ignoring their orders by travelling to Seatos.
She did so in an effort to help Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren make the journey to Peridea, a mission she accomplished...only to return with no proof that Grand Admiral Thrawn's return is imminent.
Senator Xiono has no love for the pilot and made his desire for Hera to be punished very clear. However, when things were at their bleakest, a familiar droid arrived to save the day. Anthony Daniels' C-3PO informs Mon Mothma and her fellow Senators that Senator Leia Organa actually gave Hera the green light.
Thanks to SFFGazette.com, we have a new character poster for Ahsoka which puts the spotlight on everyone's favourite golden protocol droid. Funnily enough, his cameo was in an episode which also featured the return of his creator, Anakin Skywalker, albeit in the form of a Clone Wars-era hologram.
Anthony Daniels has also chimed in on his return, confirming he was on set and that The Volume was used for a sequence which, honestly, we thought was a physical set!
After C-3PO saved the day, we learned that Leia is now the leader of the New Republic's Defence Council. Her intervention proves vital for the Ghost pilot. However, during a brief conversation with Mon, it's clear the Rebel Alliance's one-time leader is terrified of the Grand Admiral's possible return, further cementing him as a huge threat.
We'd have liked to see R2-D2 by Threepio's side, but common sense says he's currently with Luke Skywalker as the Jedi Knight attempts to rebuild the Order from the ground up.
Take a closer look at the latest character poster for Ahsoka below.
