We're now just one week away from the two-episode premiere of Ahsoka, and while runtimes for the first few chapters were recently revealed, we now have fresh intel about the show's directors.
While these names were first shared at Star Wars Celebration, a new press release from Disney confirms who will take the helm of each specific episode.
As we first reported on SFFGazette.com, showrunner Dave Filoni will step behind the camera for the first and fifth chapters. His past live-action credits include The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, while he's also known for his work on The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels.
Steph Green (The Book of Boba Fett) is directing the second and third episodes, while Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse's Peter Ramsey (The Mandalorian) is returning to this Galaxy for Ahsoka's fourth chapter.
Then, Jennifer Getzinger (Westworld) will direct the sixth episode before Geeta Vasant Patel (House of the Dragon) takes charge of the penultimate episode. As for the finale, The Mandalorian executive producer Rick Famuyiwa is directing.
Another new promo for Ahsoka has also been released which you can watch below.
Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
