Next week's episode of Ahsoka has already been described as a "game changer," and if these latest rumors are any indication, Disney+'s latest live-action Star Wars series will be keeping a few surprises in store for the remainder of its first season.
Potentially major spoilers ahead.
Previous reports have claimed that Ahsoka Tano, who seemingly fell to her death in the closing moments of this week's "Fallen Jedi" only to awaken in the World Between Worlds, will engage in a lightsaber duel with her former master, Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker, in what's been described as a very different retelling of Revenge of the Sith's final battle.
However, it sounds like there's going to be a lot more to this long-awaited reunion.
According to insider MTTSH, Ahsoka is going to experience various alternate reality events, including her killing Grand Admiral Thrawn before he has the chance to pull Ezra Bridger into another galaxy. It seems these visions are all designed to make the former Jedi understand that, no matter what course of action she took, things would turn out the same way.
Apparently, Tano's journey concludes with her emerging as "Ahsoka the White" (a nod to Gandalf the White from The Lord of the Rings), which we got a glimpse of in the series finale of Star Wars Rebels.
Whether this will occur in the season finale or in the build-up is not clear, but we should have a lot more to go in after next Tuesday's still untitled instalment.
