Ahsoka's third episode - believed to be just over 35 minutes in total - will hit Disney+ later today, and a TV spot (via SFFGazette.com) showcases a few brief snippets of new footage from the Star Wars Rebels follow-up.
As well as confirmation Hera Syndulla will join Ahsoka Tano and Sabine Wren on Seaton (where the lightsaber-wielding heroes will battle Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, and Marrok), we also see a live-action version of the Ghost. That was frequently front and centre in Rebels, but it's something we're guessing Dave Filoni is making us wait for here in order to build excitement.
The teaser has also generated quite a bit of buzz on social media after showcasing what, on the surface, appears to be a new shot of Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker. While the dialogue we hear is from Ahsoka, that's actually just a slightly recoloured scene from Obi-Wan Kenobi.
If, however, you'd like to learn more about plans for Anakin in Ahsoka, we have a spoilery report for you right here.
In the meantime, watch this new TV spot - and check out another poster - below.
Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
The first two episodes of Ahsoka are now streaming on Disney+.
