THE MANDALORIAN: WWE Superstar Sasha Banks Reacts To Making Her Debut As [SPOILER] In Chapter 11

Ever since rumors first swirled online that WWE Superstar Sasha Banks had joined the cast of The Mandalorian, there's been speculation that she might be playing a live-action take on Star Wars Rebels' Sabine Wren. The Boss finally made her debut during this week's episode, but not as Sabine!

Banks' was introduced alongside BSG alum Katee Sackoff as Clone Wars fan-favourite Bo-Katan Kryze, and while her character is a Mandalorian, she's actually playing Koska Reeves.

A long-time Star Wars fan, Banks - real name Mercedes Varnado - took to Twitter to share her excitement at getting to join the galaxy far, far away.

Some fans were a little disappointed that the SmackDown Women's Champion wasn't playing Sabine, but Reeves seems like a compelling character, and there is a pretty good chance Miss Wren will eventually show up in The Mandalorian or one of the planned spinoff shows in development for Disney+.

What did you guys think of "The Heiress"? How do you see the remaining season 2 episodes playing out? Drop us a comment down below.

I am so glad she wasn’t playing Sabine Wren, nothing against her but man you could tell in the little screen time she had that she just isn’t a good actress. Serviceable for the character she played, but I did find her little mannerisms kinda awkward. Maybe I’m being too harsh and nitpicky, but that’s just what I thought.

Sabine is a fairly major character, and since we haven’t heard any definitive casting rumors for her, I’m guessing she doesn’t show up this season.

@santoanderson - or it could be a big surprise that they're hiding, you never know. If she doesn't show up this season, there's always season 3 and beyond.

Pretty good episode bit short though, some great action pieces. Better than last weeks episode.

Assumed she was gonna be a new character, but didn't expect Bo-Katan (who I thought had a bit weird hair).

I'm guessing that Sabine will be chilling with Ahsoka, but in the meantime I don't mind seeing Sasha again.
