THE MANDALORIAN End Credits Concept Art Highlights Ahsoka Tano's Debut And The Child Grogu

Lucasfilm has released concept art from Friday's episode of The Mandalorian, and as expected, Ahsoka Tano and Grogu receive most of the spotlight, as do some key moments from Dave Filoni's "The Jedi."

Friday's episode of The Mandalorian was a game-changer for the Disney+ series as it saw Din Djarin come face-to-face with a Jedi on his quest to return The Child to its people. Unfortunately, Ahsoka Tano (yes, that Ahsoka) was unable to train the youngster, but we did learn plenty about him!

The biggest reveal was the fact that his real name is Grogu, and the bounty hunter now has a new mission which will see "Baby Yoda" decide whether to continue his Jedi training or remain with his new father figure.

As per usual, Lucasfilm has now released a gallery of concept art from this episode of the show.

The artwork highlights Ahsoka Tano's live-action debut as well as some key moments with the newly named Grogu. The artists who contributed to the end credits include Brian Matyas, Anton Grandent, Erik Tiemens, Ryan Church, and Christian Alzmann. Hit the "Next" button below to check these out.

There was a lot of imagery in this episode of The Mandalorian which was quite clearly inspired by samurai tales. However, as director Dave Filoni didn't go too heavy-handed with that, it worked well.

Seeing Ahsoka Tano leap into action in this episode was awesome, and the fact that she was fighting alongside Din Djarin was honestly a little mind-blowing and not something we ever expected to see.

The episode's final battle between Ahsoka Tano and Imperial Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth was great, but having them fight in a setting like the one above arguably would have been too on the nose.

During her "conversation" with The Child, Ahsoka learned that his real name is "Grogu" and that he was once trained in the Jedi Temple. Who hid him away all those year ago is still a mystery, though.

Ahsoka made it clear that she can't train Grogu, largely due to his attachment to Din Djarin. Something tells us that he won't end up becoming a Jedi, and may choose to be a Mandalorian instead!
