Comic Writer Bryan Edward Hill to pen Just Cause Movie

Witchblade co-writer Bryan Edward Hill is going to be writing a new draft of the film, Just Cause, which is based on the highly successful video game franchise of the same name.

Hill, who co-wrote comic series Witchblade for Top-Cow says he will re-write the script first written by Michael Ross



The movie, titled Just Cause: Scorpion Rising will be a origin story for the games protagonist, Rico Rodriguez. The project is being produced by Adrian Askarieh and Eric Eisner, who are developing it independently, before taking it to studios and financiers.
