PAC-MAN The Movie (The Fan Film) and its associated trailers are fan-made shorts created to celebrate the awesomeness that is (and will always be) Pac-Man.

The beginning part of the video is a message Dr.Light records over 100 years ago, his lab is now abandoned. As the camera moves into the capsule you see a still running testing parameter where Mega Man X fights a hologram or drone in the form of Protoman. The reason I chose to use Protoman, was for the mystery surrounding him it's never officially said what happens to him. So after this test ends with a charged blast from X he faces a choice to kill but he chooses to show mercy, After which a hologram appears telling him that his testing is done. What isn't seen is who brought him out of the capsule which of course is Dr.Cain, maybe for another time.

I didn't have a lot of money but I decided to do it anyway I had 700 dollars, two green sheets, an amazing prop maker, two actors who worked for free because I didn't have enough money to pay them, they still gave 110% and one awesome friend who busted his butt on the animation side.

The Pac-Man one is actually a pretty damn cool fan-film, only it doesn't fit Pac-Man that much. But, again, I dig it for a fan film. The MegaMan one also looks nice for what it is (should be a very cheap budget, eh?); I kind of like the costumes, especially.

PacMan was really good for a short! Mega-Man they didnt do a good job of editing, closeups in the action stayed on the characters too long. 5 frames man! C'MON!!!

Strange because I'd think Mega Man X could be a better one, but in the end was the other way around.

I think this is the first time I have every seen my favourite character talked about on this site!!!

If you ant to see a decent version of a Mega Man film, you may want to look at Eddie Lebron's take on it. It hunk the film is just under an hour and the guy who did the fx work is pretty good.

You can check it out here: http://www.megamanfilm.com/

Pac man was a great fan film.

Megaman was okay, it just needs some work.

I can can see Megaman turning into a movie compared to Pacman.

Between the 2 - Pacman was better. Great visual effects! I always wondered what Pacman's voice sounded like!

Pac Man was very creative, I have to give it to them.

The actors on Mega Man were way to old. Mega Man should look somewhere between 16-21. something around there.

I give it to them for trying but the biggest problem that I could really see was there faces. They were to human. They should have layered a different texture on top, something to give them separate them from human. The face has to stand out.

Mega Man one . . . I honestly seen better.

The one with Pac-Man, however, is the most creative out of the two. It really got me interested on a possible live action adaption in the future if they went further with the story.

owl man don't be an asshole if you don't like it don't comment... maybe you should comprehend what it takes to make a film, and just be impressed that they did it with there own equipment and what appears to be an extremely low budget... People need to learn what to expect from what they are watching maybe then every person commenting wouldn't hate every movie and comic idea ever posted just for the sake of hating and cause they expect oscars and deep stories from action and popcorn style movies... owl man you're a moron..

Megaman X needs to be a cartoon or a CGI film based off the original character designs.
