20th Century Fox and Ubisoft Motion Pictures' Assassin’s Creed movie stars Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard (Alicia Vikander is also rumoured to be in talks). The film, to be directed by Justin Kurzel and produced by New Regency, is scheduled to start shooting this August for a December 21th, 2016 release. Assassin's Creed is being co-financed by RatPac and Alpha Pictures. Frank Marshall, Arnon Milchan, Jean-Julien Baronnet, Conor McCaughan, Fassbender and Pat Crowley are producing. Bill Collage, Adam Cooper and Michael Lesslie wrote the script. What do you think about this first poster?

Please be good, Hollywood still sucks at video game movies and Hitman looks terrible yet again. This and World Of Warcraft movie better not sucks.

Fassbender and Cotillard together again? Yes. The director of Macbeth is back to direct this and after seeing that striking and beautiful trailer for macbeth, I'm on board for Assasins Creed.

@grif, the eagle has a bery significant role in Assassins Creed. The way that assassins hunt down their targets are akin to eagles. Also, the sixth sense that the assassins have is called eagle vision. In the game, eagles swarm around viewpoints that assassins use to scan thwir surroundings and werer they also take thwir leap of faith.

"The Movie" is a really cheap subtitle. 'The Film' or 'The Motion Picture' are much classier, IMO.
Still, this looks alright. Glad to see it finally coming together.

Great poster, I saw the Macbeth trailer a couple of days ago and it looked amazing. Just imagine a Assasins Creed movie with that kind of cinematography.
