When intergalactic aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war against them, they attack the Earth, using the games as models for their various assaults. President Will Cooper (Kevin James) has to call on his childhood best friend, '80s video game champion Sam Brenner (Adam Sandler), now a home theater installer, to lead a team of old-school arcaders (Peter Dinklage & Josh Gad) to defeat the aliens and save the planet. Michelle Monaghan plays the team's unique weapons specialist.


Directed by Chris Columbus, Pixels stars Adam Sandler, Kevin James, Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage, and Michelle Monaghan, and is set to be released on July 24th. What do you think of this first clip?

wow a hilarious adam sandler family film that will make your kids LOL
and kevin james as the president will make your kids lose their minds. IGN calls this movie another adam sandler classic.

It's not surprising at all that you think this movie is even remotely funny. What are you...10 years old? I rate this right up there with BaseketBall as far most idiotic movies ever. the idea for the movie would be a lot better if they focus on not some prehistoric games but the more modern one. You could go with MK characters, Snake, Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 or Birkin from RE2, Blood, Gabriel Knight, Deus Ex, Tanya from C&C - you name it. Guybrush Threepwood would be fun to watch onscreen.

I am gonna give this movie a chance,I'm not expecting The Godfather in quality.I grew up playing these classic's & its gonna be worth a look for nostalgia reasons.

Ya, i was actually curios when i saw the first trailer, then Adam sandler popped up and my head fell into my hands. I like Peter, but god damn idk if he can even save this from Sandler
