Why is this such a surprise? He's supposed to be a jerk, and asshole, a rule breaker. He is the polar opposite of Superman and that's why other heroes don't like him and why thugs fear him. People just gotten so used to seeing him play the hero that they forget he is the anti-hero. People aren't supposed to like him, just like what he does, protect Gotham. He is supposed to be like the Punisher (I would say Wolverine but he's been turned into a marshmellow as of late as well).

I dont think people are surprised, i think this is more of a haha article, anyways, I was gonna make a joke about shark repelent but it is obviously far to late for me. They had to of put that shark in there thinking about that gag. Bat's also put Vikki Vale in her place, that made me laugh. I like this clip, shows some spoilers and you get your 1st time hearing robin's voice.

Batman points out an obvious, universal truth: There is no better repellent than repetitive punching in the face. Trust me, that shark now understands that its overtures were unwanted and it will be more considerate to other peoples' feelings in the future.
