VIDEO GAMES: DC COMICS DLC Pack Coming To LITTLE BIG PLANET

Earlier this week, the LittleBigPlanet Twitter account has been teasing some sort of superhero themed DLC. We now have a teaser image confirming it to be DC Comics related. Hit the jump for that and a look at the new power-up.

For the past few days, LittleBigPlanet has been teasing upcoming DLC, on their Twitter account, having to do with superheroes. Many fans speculated that this was to be Man of Steel or Justice League related. Judging by the silhouettes in the below picture, we have confirmation that it will indeed be pertaining to DC Comics.



A video was also released, teasing what kind of power-ups can be expected with the DLC.

^There have been rumors of an LBP3, but Sony has announced LBP Hub. Not sure if it's next gen though.

I still don't understand what LittleBigPlanet is.
I've had a PS3 for 3 years now, i follow games and franchises in depth, but i'm completely lost towards the significance of this Sack Boy thing.

^It's not about the Sackboy. The game survives by user-generated content. There is a story mode, but that's not what the game is about. They give you the tools to make your own games, levels, and movies. You can literally make your own game, anyway you want to. Then you can go and play other people's levels and rate them. Here's an example of a level published by a user:
