Star Wars: Episode 7 and said it was coming out in 2015, now we learn more about the effects of the deal. Fans of the Star Wars video games are wondering what will happen with LucasArts' internal development studios as they are currently working on
Star Wars 1313. IGN reached out to LucasArts and received the following statement:
For the time being all projects are business as usual. We are excited about all the possibilities that Disney brings.
For more information, LucasArts is simply directing people towards today's official press release. Disney's CEO Bob Iger, speaking on a conference call regarding the buyout, has stated that the company is now focus more on mobile and social development than consoles going forward. Though, as Tech Crunch notes, he also said they'd pursue console games "opportunistically," licensing out the franchise to other companies.
