The first major DLC for Arkham Origins sees the Dark Knight face-off against Mr Freeze. When a party hosted by none other than Bruce Wayne is crashed by the villain, Bruce must act quickly to stop him. Will it be a frosty reception for Victor Fries? Play as Batman to hunt down the criminal with the use of an all new thermal suit.



Batman: Arkham Origins - "Cold, Cold Heart". In this extensive story add-on, players will unearth the tragic origin story of Mr. Freeze and learn how he earned his role as one of Batman's arch nemeses. Unfolding across iconic Gotham City locations, including Wayne Manor, Cold, ColdHeart equips players with the powerful Batman Extreme Environment (XE) suit and new gadgets including the Thermal Gloves and Thermocharged Batarangs. The game introduces several hours of all-new content in which players will battle through punishing, icy landscapes to witness Mr. Freeze's heart-pumping first encounter with the Dark Knight. Cold, Cold Heart will be available for purchase on the PlayStation Network, XboxLIVE and Steam beginning April 22. This add-on pack will be available to playerswho have purchased the Batman: Arkham Origins Season Pass and are connected to the Internet, or it can be purchased separately for $9.99.

Have you played the game yet? If not, man, I really really REALLY recommend you not waste your money... just watch it all on YouTube. The game is pretty much a huge DLC of Arkham City.

This trailer, kind of leaves you cold.

Wow, that Mr. Freeze scene... the nostalgia. Makes me want to watch that episode of BTAS.

Yeah me too! I got Hitman Absolution for free. And when I finished it, I was very happy to have not paid for it. Ugh, HORRIBLE game, terrible story - it's like they tried to adapt the movie.

Anyway, Arkham Origins...yeah, I liked the story, especially with Harley and the Joker's session, and most of the voice acting. I just wish it was a bit more inventive. Some things were just ridiculous, like Bane's laser-guided amnesia at the end... convenient.
