Activision has released a new action packed combat trailer for their upcoming comic book video game Spider-Man Edge of Time.

Spider-Man: Edge of Time is a focused, action-packed adventure set in two connected and evolving timelines, from the contemporary times of the Amazing Spider-Man to the corrupted future world of Spider-Man 2099, against the backdrop of a rich, tightly crafted narrative by acclaimed Marvel veteran Peter David (co-creator of the comic book series Spider-Man 2099). The game features all-new "cause-and-effect" gameplay, where players will see how the immediate and sometimes unexpected effects of their actions as one Spider-Man changes the timeline of the other Spider-Man.

Looks silly. Why can't anyone just do a regular Amazing / Ultimate Spider-Man game?

Hope next year's movie takes care of that.

And, if they want to "team-up" Spider-Men, just do an Ultimate Spider-Man game with Peter and Miles.

Guess we had many Amazing/Ultimate Spider-Man over the years on PS1 and PS2.

@FriendlyJoShFest I totally agree. I don't see why you have to unlock combat moves. I mean he's SPIDER-MAN. I can understand costumes and unlockables, but combat upgrades always seemed silly, unless it went with the story of the game, which shouldn't be the case for spidey, unless it's an origin game. I can't wait to get this!!!!

Batman Arkham City is going to be infinitely better Im not a big dc fan Im more of a marvel fan spider mans good but batman better the only character i like from dc

I already pre-ordered at GameStop to get the Identity Crisis costumes and I'm picking it up tomorrow.
