say what you want, but guys like me will be seeing this in droves! Last Stand, Parker, Bullet to the Head and now Die Hard 5 in the span of a month.

In a modern world where Tatum, Kitsch and Lautner are the next fresh-faced kiddies with abs running around with guns, I'll take geriatric Bruce Yippie-Kayee-ing all day, any day.

the BEST thing bout this latest Die Hard is Yulia Snigir. she's so HOT ice berg don't stand a chance anywhere NEAR her.

but my complain bout this new DH flick is..where da HECK is John McClane..??? sure, there's Bruce Willis playing a guy named John McClane, but in NO way THAT's the same John McClane from the previous four DH movies. the biggest thing that's missing and what makes this one feels like any other action flicks BUT a die hard movie is the near absence / lack of the classic McClane-baddie banters. even in Die Hard 4.0, you got some funny ones from John and his sidekick, played by Justin Long.
in this one, you got John and his estranged (a major understatement) son - Jay Courtney (a baddie in Jack Reacher). i prefer the chemistry between John and his DAUGHTER from the previous movie..although she (mary elizabeth winstead) does make some cameo scenes.

despite the pretty cool and really destructive car (heavy armor) chases, by the end i just got tired watching from one explosion after another..it just feels way too much..and that's NOT in a good way.

a HUGE disappointment, since i just thought Willis's McClane can do no wrong. BUT..he DID. And if Willis is serious bout doing another one, he better get his act together and fix the problems here...but most of all..DO NOT invite back the director, JOHN MOORE. he's just not in the same league as DH's previous helmers, McTiernan, Harlin and Wiseman.
