Michael Bay's latest action flick, Ambulance, is now available on 4K UHD, Blu-ray and DVD, and to mark the movie's home release debut, Universal Pictures has sent us over an exclusive behind-the-scenes featurette.

The clip, titled "Finding Ambulance - Characters," includes some never-before-seen BTS footage from the film, along with interview snippets with stars Jake Gyllenhaal, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Eiza González, who explain what drew them to their respective roles.

Check out the video below, and let us know if you plan on adding Ambulance to your Blu-ray collection in the comments section.

Over one day across the streets of L.A., three lives will change forever.

In this breakneck thriller from director-producer Michael Bay, decorated veteran Will Sharp (Emmy winner Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Candyman, The Matrix Resurrections), desperate for money to cover his wife’s medical bills, asks for help from the one person he knows he shouldn’t—his adoptive brother Danny (Oscar® nominee Jake Gyllenhaal, Zodiac, Spider-Man: Far From Home). A charismatic career criminal, Danny instead offers him a score: the biggest bank heist in Los Angeles history: $32 million. With his wife’s survival on the line, Will can’t say no.

But when their getaway goes spectacularly wrong, the desperate brothers hijack an ambulance with a wounded cop clinging to life and ace EMT Cam Thompson (Eiza González, Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, Baby Driver) onboard. In a high-speed pursuit that never stops, Will and Danny must evade a massive, city-wide law enforcement response, keep their hostages alive, and somehow try not to kill each other, all while executing the most insane escape L.A. has ever seen.

I actually enjoyed this one. Had much less of the flashy camera work that Bay's known for... Still there, but much less.

I also didn't really notice any bad VFX that he was reportedly unhappy with.

Still in disbelief this guy directed 5 Transformers movies...

@UnderBelly - man, you are tripping. The camera work in this movie was more nauseating than anything he’s ever done. Especially the drone shots. The whole movie was pretty dumb. I almost finished it and then i passed out with like 15 minutes left and never cared to fire it back up.

@CaptainMexico - clearly you didn't see his last offering, 6 underground.

@UnderBelly - oh ya, I did see that one! That was some pretty incoherent camera work as well. Both those movies making me just agitated due to the camera work and editing. It’s almost like it’s made by a bunch of Hollywood types jacked up on that nose candy.

@CaptainMexico - I definitely see the cocaine reference. Lol.. but na,

All of his movies are like that, aside from maybe the first Transformers, but I felt it less in this one. And when it was it didn't overshadow the story too much.

Of all his movies I gota say it's one of those that I hate less. Pain and Gain was also watchable.

@CaptainMexico - I'd have to say that the ONLY thing good about 6 Underground was "Parkour Guy", everything else was trash. Yeah, and umm "Ambalamps" was horrible.

"AMBULANCE Is Now Available On Blu-ray"

So.....? Who asked? What does this have to do with comic books?? How much studio moolah do you get for one of these dumb shoe-horned-in features?

@Zappy - I asked the same question in another article and I was told it's because these actors played comic book characters in other movies. I called that person an idiot.

I thought the actors were quite good in this film, especially Jake and Yahya, but that's about all I can highlight. After a while I got really, really tired of Bay's camerawork and directing to the point that it really undermined the film.

Overall, an okay film that I gave a 7/10. Currently the lowest ranked film I've watched this year.

Actually ended up liking the movie, was hard getting used to the camera work at the start but after a while it got better and was invested with the characters.

I liked the development Eiza's character went through and totally didn't see that ending coming. But it made sense.
