It's futile to compare yourself physically to The Rock (who is also playing Hercules in a competing film directed by Brett Ratner), but star Kellan Lutz definitely had his own working out to do to play the demigod in HERCULES 3D. For the look of the character, director Renny Harlin told him, "I don’t want you getting bigger. Just get your abs to pop more" and below we see behind the scenes images showing Lutz in character on set.
