Captain America writers Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely have been busy these last couple of years, now they are teaming again for Michael Bays next film Pain and Gain. Based on an article from the Miami New Times from 1999, Pain and Gain is a story about two bodybuilders who get caught up in an extortion ring and a kidnapping gone wrong.

G.I Joe: Retaliation star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is currently in negotiations for a starring role, as is Max Payne's Mark Wahlberg. Both actors have sat down with Bay to discuss their potencial roles in the film, but the film is still in early casting phases. it is reported that the film will cost only $20 Million (looks like no massive explosions for bay this time) and will be produced by Bay and Donald De Line, Paramount Pictures will be distributing the film.
