DIE HARD Star Bruce Willis Finally Return As John McClane...For A New Advance Auto Parts Commercial

Over the weekend, a mysterious 30-second Die Hard teaser left fans wondering if Bruce Willis had filmed another instalment of the franchise in secret. There have been rumblings about another chapter for a while, and the full "movie" has now been shared online. Unfortunately, it's only two minutes long and a commercial for auto parts manufacturer, Adavance Auto Parts.

According to the officially released synopsis, this is "a new chapter in the Die Hard story," and we're asked to, "Watch as John McClane faces off against old foes and crosses paths with old friends. From fighting his way to Advance Auto Parts to racing against the clock to install his new DieHard Battery – McClane will stop at nothing, to start his car again."

There are plenty of Easter Eggs here for Die Hard fans, with former limousine driver, Argyle, making a surprise return, while McClane even ends up climbing through another air vent!

Hilariously, the commercial ends with Argyle taking the opportunity to say, "Yippee ki yay," to which McClane responds, "That's my line." It's a great commercial, and one we'd usually expect to see released during the Super Bowl given the high production values.
