We recently learned that a fourth Expendables movie is in the works, and cameras have been rolling on Lionsgate's action sequel for the past few weeks.
New cast member Megan Fox shared a first look at her character's costume last month, which was followed by Sylvester Stallone posting a couple of snaps of his own. Now, Jason Statham has taken to Instagram to give fans an awesome behind-the-scenes look at his character, Lee Christmas, engaged in hand-to-hand combat with Iko Uwais.
The Raid star will play the villain: A former military officer-turned-arms dealer with his own private army.
"A real honour to spend some screen time with the incredibly talented [Iko Uwais]," Statham captioned his post. "A true master of his game and a powerhouse of speed and skills that take a lifetime to achieve. Massive respect for all that you do brother."
Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture are also set to reprise their roles from the previous films, with Curtis “50” Jackson and Tony Jaa joining Fox as new recruits. Stuntman-turned-director Scott Waugh (Need for Speed) will helm the project from a script by Spenser Cohen, Max Adams and John Joseph Connolly.
