Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment has announced that Ryan Reynolds' critically acclaimed action comedy Free Guy will arrive on Digital HD on September 28, followed by a 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD launch a few weeks later on October 12.
The Shawn Levy-directed feature has been one of this summer's most welcome surprises, having grossed over $117.3 million globally thus far and set itself up for a likely very profitable September. Its strong performance both critically and commercially has already led Disney to request Reynolds and Levy to begin developing a sequel.
In addition to Reynolds, the cast features Jodie Comer, Joe Keery, Lil Rel Howery, Utkarsh Ambudkar, and Taika Waititi in leading roles.
While this title was a holdover from the 20th Century Studios acquisition, the home video release will contain plenty of awesome special features, including deleted scenes, a hilarious gag reel, and amazing featurettes that will take you behind the scenes of the making of the movie.

Film Synopsis
A bank teller (Ryan Reynolds) who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game decides to become the hero of his own story – one he rewrites himself.
