World War Z star James Badge Dale is the frontrunner to play the older brother of Armie Hammer's Lone Ranger. The site describe Dan Reid as,
"an ex-ranger and hero of the Old West." The Gore Verbinski helmed flick is set to finally go into production next month and the cast also includes Johnny Depp, Hammer, Ruth Wilson, Tom Wilkinson, Barry Pepper, Helena Bonham Carter, and Dwight Yoakum. If he decides to take the job, Dale will be removing himself from the shortlist of actors up for the role of John McClane Jr. in
A Good Day to Die Hard.
