The first official behind-the-scenes footage from the still untitled 25th
James Bond movie has been released, and it gives us some brief glimpses of Daniel Craig's 007 along with the returning Jeffrey Wright (
Westworld) as Felix Leiter, and Lashana Lynch (
Captain Marvel) as a mysterious new character named Nomi.
The minute-long video teases the exotic Jamaican setting and also features several shots of director Cary Fukunaga filming the action.
Bond 25 hasn't enjoyed the smoothest of shoots so far, but Craig is now fully healed up after his recent ankle injury and everything seems to be back on track
“Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica,” according to the official description of the film. “His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.”
Bond 25 is set to fire into theaters on April 8, 2020, and also stars Rami Malek, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Lea Seydeoux, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana de Armas, and David Dencik.
