Mendes directed Skyfall?
I could have sworn it was Christopher Nolan.... LOL

Loved the cinematography in Skyfall, and thaats about it. It became self parodying in bits, and the cgi komodo dragon and the plot contrivences and the damn old dog new tricks thing...it was all very frustrating. I hope this is a return to the arc that began in Royale and heated up in Quatumn (IMO a good movie) and then completely forgotten in Skyfall.

For me, there hasn't been a good Bond film since Connery left.

And what happened to the visceral Borne like fight scenes that were replaced by artsy silhouette and poorly choreographed train top fight scene...arg, I really was very disappointed with Skyfall. Glad those who enjoyed it did, but I did not.

Miles Morales? Before Parker? Besides if I want one ethnic/black character to come into the MCU waving the "were here white folks" flag proudly I'd want it to be an authentic ethnic/black fellah...like Black Panther, not some god damn PC gimmick. It was bad enough Black Panther was pushed back. Stepped right on the brothers toes.

Also, Skyfall deleivered good shots and thats all.

Such terribly bland covers... its literally just his face, nothing about the movie just his face ¬_¬

As for Spectre, i'm not too interested, the last films were fairly weak.

Skyfall was going into the right direction for my taste in James Bond films. Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace was too serious for me. Casino Royale was still a great movie but QoS was complete dog sh*t.

Funny how people love the new direction of JB but hated the Timothy Dalton ones.

I actually like View to a kill and Licence to Kill, so there's that. I suppose I do like the more serious take on the character. And I dissagree about Quatum. I like story arches over the course of multiple films and I think QOS was a perfect progression of CR.

Pfft...the American equivalent of Bond is better.

Looking forward to Spectre as Skyfall was awesome but not quite as good as Casino Royale in my opinion.
I personally think that Cavill should be the next Bond but would still be happy if Idris Elba got the role.

Always worth watching this trailer to see Nolan's version of Bond

C'mon man, get off Jollem's nuts. He's not wrong. Miles would be a good fit in the Ultimate-influenced MCU.

@Hellboy6666

I do agree on it being a good progression from Casino Royale, but that movie is not a James Bond movie to me. I tend to like more of the campy nature of Bond.

License to Kill is freaking awesome, even though it goes for the more serious route.
