NOAH is a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah’s Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. The screenplay was written by Darren Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter John Logan (GLADIATOR, HUGO). Scott Franklin and Aronofsky of Protozoa Pictures, along with Mary Parent of Disruption Entertainment, will produce the film. The film will be executive produced by Ari Handel (BLACK SWAN), Arnon Milchan of New Regency and Chris Brigham (INCEPTION, ARGO).

Noah stars Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Emma Watson, Logan Lerman, Douglas Booth, Ray Winstone and Sir Anthony Hopkins. The film is set to hit theaters March 28th, 2014.

Great cast.
I probably wouldn't be that excited normally, but since its Aronofsky, I'm definitely interested in this project.

We're gonna need a bigger boat. I hope Noah gets two of each marine animal too.

The big finish for the film? He gets to bang his family!

"But where did all the blacks and Asians come from if Noah were white?"

Are you trying to say Noah was half black and half Asian?

What "people of color"? How do you know what color Noah was?

Jennifer Connelly's mother is Jewish and Logan Lerman's parents are both Jewish. Since Jews wrote the Old Testament (I think), I am sure they can star in movies based on it also.

It is just me, but for some reason I cannot stand Watson or Logan. I find them excruciatingly painful to even look at.

Wow, Russel Crowe needs to read his Bible again. His whole speech about Noah comes out of thin air. The Bible doesn't say whether or not he was benevolent, and it certainly doesn't say he was chosen because he could "get the job done". It says that though all men were wicked, God found favor on him, meaning God had mercy on him and his family, that's all. I'm starting to cringe...

I hope they don't screw this up and take out the fact that Noah was benevolent,(Russell Crowe is wrong) he and his family were spared by God because he was a righteous man!

This world today wants to take God out of everything!

Noah cared about his fellow man that's why he tried and tried to get them to board the ark.

Now if this is just a total fantasy movie about Noah then I can understand, but the write up said it was a close adaptation.

Get it right people!
