In the video game-to-film adaptation Assassin's Creed, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) is taken by Abstergo Industries, aka the Templar Order, to help unlock the secrets of the Assassin Order by reliving the memories of his ancestor, Aguilar de Nerha. 

Now, Ubisoft Motion Pictures and 20th Century Fox have released two new images that provide our first glimpse into the secret Assassin Order, and a look at Callum Lynch evolving into the assassin his ancestor once was.

Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Michael Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain. Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.

I think this looks fantastic! That being said despite some flaws I feel like Warcraft was a great first step in slaying this so called "curse".
