Following their killer collaboration last year in the well-received Wrath of Man, director Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham are back for what looks to be another insanely entertaining actioner, Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre.
Statham (Hobbs & Shaw; Furious 7) will headline the feature as super-spy Orson Fortune, with an all-star supporting cast consisting of Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation; Legion), Josh Hartnett (Wrath of Man; Most Wanted), Cary Elwes (Mission: Impossible 7; The Princess Bride), Bugzy Malone (The Gentlemen), and 2x Primetime Emmy-nominee Hugh Grant (The Gentlemen; The Man from U.N.C.L.E.).
Ritchie (Sherlock Holmes; Aladdin) co-wrote the screenplay with Ivan Atkinson and Marn Davis, who also helped script both The Gentlemen and Wrath of Man.
While the trailer doesn't specify a release date, Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre is currently slated to open in theaters on January 21, 2022.
