Robert Rodriguez's MACHETE KILLS Gets A Release Date
Starring the likes of Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Sofía Vergara, Amber Heard, Zoe Saldana, Alexa Vega, Lady Gaga, and Lindsay Lohan, Open Road has now pencilled in Robert Rodriquez's Machete sequel for later this year. Hit the jump for details!
It has just been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter's Borys Kit that Robert Rodriquez's Machete Kills will be released on September 13th, later this year. Principal photography took only 29 days to complete and shooting wrapped last July. There were previously rumblings that the sequel to 2010's Machete would be released in July, but this is obviously no longer the case. An image released of a very grown up Alexa Vega (Spy Kids) and the casting of Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen and Lady Gaga have resulted in the film receiving a lot of attention in the press.
