Following those recent TV spots and character posters, 20th Century Studios has released an awesome new making-of featurette for their upcoming historical epic The Last Duel, featuring director Ridley Scott taking us behind the scenes of what the studio describes as his definitive epic.
The film is set in 14th-century France and tells the story of Marguerite de Thibouville (Jodie Comer), who claims she has been raped by her husband's best friend and squire Jacques Le Gris (Adam Driver). Her husband, the knight Jean de Carrouges (Matt Damon), then challenges his friend to trial by combat. It is the last legally sanctioned duel in the entire history of France.
The critically acclaimed drama stars Academy Award-winner Matt Damon (Jason Bourne; The Martian) as Jean de Carrouges, 2x Academy Award-nominee Adam Driver (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker; Logan Lucky) as Jacques Le Gris, Primetime Emmy-nominee Jodie Comer (Killing Eve; Free Guy) as Marguerite de Carrouges, and 2x Academy Award-winner Ben Affleck (Zack Snyder's Justice League; The Way Back) as Count Pierre d'Alençon.
