We've seen numerous takes on The Three Musketeers over the years, but this latest adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' classic is shaping up to be the most faithful and authentic retelling yet.
Pathe has debuted the first trailer for The Three Musketeers: D'Artagnan, which will serve as Part 1 of a two-film story set to conclude with The Three Musketeers: Milady.
The action-packed teaser introduces Charles D'Artagnan, a young swordsman in 1697 France who longs to join the King's elite military force and become a renowned Musketeer. He travels to Paris where he befriends three of the King's most famed and feared warriors - Potrhos, Athos and Aramis - and falls foul of the political machinations of the sinister Cardinal Richelieu and mysterious Milady de Winter.

D'Artagnan stars François Civil as D'Artagnan, Vincent Cassel as Athos, Romain Duris as Aramis, Pio Marmaï as Porthos, with Eva Green as Milady. The movie is set to release in France on April 5, 2023, but no U.S. dates have been announced.
