Tom Cruise & Cobie Smulders Kick Ass & Take Names In The First Teaser Trailer For JACK REACHER: NEVER GO BACK

While not a full-length trailer, the first footage from Ed Zwick's Jack Reacher: Never Go Back has arrived and it's absolutely badass! Come take a look to catch Tom Cruise & Cobie Smulders in action now!

He's back.

Tom Cruise is back as Jack Reacher and Entertainment Tonight has released our first official look at footage from the eagerly awaited Ed Zwick-directed film. It's not exactly the first full-length trailer, which should be with us in a few short days, but there's still plenty of Reacher goodness as we get to see Cruise escape one sticky situation before landing himself in another. The two-minute teaser features commentary from co-star Cobie Smulders, who introduces her character - Major Susan Turner - and then teases the badassery to come: "He's alone and he's sort of in his element and then he couples up with me and all hell breaks loose. We're on the run for this entire movie." Check out the teaser trailer below:

The new film, a sequel to 2012’s “JACK REACHER,” is based on author Lee Child’s 18th book in the bestselling Jack Reacher series, Never Go Back. The film is written by Richard Wenk (“THE EXPENDABLES 2,” “THE EQUALIZER”), Marshall Herskovitz (“LOVE AND OTHER DRUGS,” “THE LAST SAMURAI”) & Zwick.

Cruise is producing alongside Don Granger (“MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – ROGUE NATION,” “JACK REACHER”), Skydance Media’s David Ellison and Dana Goldberg (“MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – ROGUE NATION,” “ EOSTORM”), and Christopher McQuarrie (“MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE – ROGUE NATION,” “ ALKYRIE”). The executive producers are Paula Wagner (“WAR OF THE WORLDS,” “THE OTHERS”) and Herb Gains (“THE JUDGE,” “NON-STOP”).
