Tumor Comic Adaption Has A Director

Joshua Hale Fialkov and Noel Tuazon’s Tumor comic series now has A Nightmare On Elm Street remake Director Sam Bayer Attached.

According to Variety the Tumor comic series, which debuted at this years San Diego Comic-Con has director Sam Bayer locked in. Bayer's first and only film, the remake of Wes Craven's horror classic "A Nightmare On Elm Street" marked his directorial debut. Barry Josephson("Life As We Know It") has jumped aboard as a producer of the film.

For those of you not familiar with the series here is a brief synopsis courtesy of Archaia comics:

"Frank Armstrong has an inoperable brain tumor that’s killing him. In his final days, with his body, senses, and mind failing him, he’s going to do the one thing that he’s never been able to do before… save the girl."
