are the zombies in this the classic slow movers or the running kind??

zombie stories in flashbacks...would it work, even with BRAD PITT in the lead???

I don't think Brad Pitt is playing Max Brooks' character in this movie. I think they are leaving out the flashback part. My first assumption of this movie is he will be in the mix of the US going down to the Zombies and maybe narrate over it with the other parts of the world. From pictures and video I saw on this site it looks like these will be runners too. Really lame IMO. They need to walk and we need to see the Yonkers Stand. Just waves after waves of zombies coming with the look of no hope.

World War Z is going to be a genre changing flick that I'm very excited about. I doubt there will be a lot of gore or graphic scenes. I think it will be a excellent acting and masterful story telling.
