Beware The Batman was getting excellent towards its end. I think it's fit for a continuation.

@MV081199 - just realized from now on its gonna be super annoying talking about that batman cartoon because the batman 2022 just released so we can't just say the batman anymore.

For a long time I avoided The Batman sinply because some of the villain designs (mainly Joker and Bane) are atrocious, but eventually I gave it a chance. Now I own it and rewatch it every once in a while. Great show. Not as good as Batman: The Animated Series, but what is?

The Batman's version of Batgirl was my absolute favorite incarnation of the character. I know that's not a popular opinion because she was pretty much still a child and therefor not a masturbation fantasy, but that's exactly why I liked her so much. She was very inexperienced and totally in over her head, but you could also watch her improve. And watch Bruce increasingly respecting her for it. I'd like to see more young superheroes in serious settings.

Also she was funny as hell.

I LOVED The Batman as a kid. I had so many action figures lol

But if you wanna talk about overlooked DC Animated series, then we gotta talk about Legion of Superheroes

Great list. Batman: TAS was there for my childhood years. The Batman was there for my adolescent years. Both series still hold up.

Beware the Batman was also great and had so much more to offer. Since it too focused on Batman's early years, I liked how it used more obscure villains rather than jumping straight to the big guns. It was clear the creators wanted to take their time with the show. The more Batman would make an impact on the city, the more he would draw out the crazies. Very much like Nolan's approach. It's a shame they didn't get to see it through.

Batman: The Brave and The Bold is another underrated gem. Batman has never failed in the animated series department.

I really disliked "Beware the Batman" and found it nearly unwatchable. (IMHO).

As another poster mentioned, I initially avoided The Batman (2004) because i disliked several of the character designs. However, after I did eventually give it a chance, I actually liked it quite a bit. It had some good story-lines.

The earlier Teen Titans cartoon (2003) was really good as was Static Shock (even if SS was kinda corny sometimes).

Not much for Teen Titans GO, but my young nephews like it, so...cool?

I'm pumped for this new Batman cartoon, Batman: Caped Crusader.

BTAS, Batman Beyond, Justice League/Unlimited, Batman: the Brave and the Bold, and Young Justice are probably my favorite DC shows.
