Is MONTY PYTHON Star John Cleese About To Join The DC Films Universe?

Some very interesting clues have surfaced which point to British acting legend John Cleese joining the DC Films Universe! Has he landed a role in Justice League? Hit the jump for what we know right now.

Before we go any further, bear in mind that who certain people followed on Twitter led to us learning earlier than expected that Joe Manganiello would play Deathstroke in The Batman and that Rick Famuyiwa had been hired to take the helm of The Flash. Now, word is going around that DC Films Universe photographer Clay Enos and the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice UK Twitter account have followed John Cleese, and as a result, speculation is pointing to him having joined this world.

Honestly, its a stretch, but there is precedent for this sort of thing happening! Reddit users are already speculating that he could have been chosen to play everyone from Glorious Godfrey to Deadman and Dr. Fate. There are countless possibilites though, and nothing to say he's been cast by Warner Bros.

For now, it seems like we're just going to have to wait and see. There's no denying that this would be a great bit of casting on the studio's part though, and Cleese would bring a lot to any superhero movie he's added to. What do you guys think? Would you like to see Cleese show up in Justice League?
