Spider-Man: No Way Home concluded with an epic battle atop the Statue of Liberty that saw Peter Parkers from three different worlds team up (with a helping hand from Doctor Octopus) to defeat the Green Goblin, Electro, Sandman, and The Lizard. Thanks to Marek Okon, we now have a spectacular piece of concept art showing the work that went into making that sequence a reality.

This is a little different to what we saw in the movie, but the villainous Norman Osborn finds himself facing down the three Spider-Men, Doc Ock, and even MJ and Ned Leeds.

He may be outnumbered, but as we learned in Spider-Man: No Way Home, he certainly wasn't outgunned. It's a shame we didn't get to see Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield's Spidey Variants battle the Goblin (especially given the former's history with him), but by this point in the movie, things had become extremely personal between the MCU's Spider-Man and Norman Osborn.

We're not surprised Okon felt like he was working on fan art with this piece as it's still a little hard to believe this actually happened. The threequel took the concept of the Multiverse and did something absolutely bonkers with it, but if recent rumours are to be believed, things are about to get even crazier (starting this May in Sam Raimi's Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness).

I liked seeing Norman and Otto interact, both as their "good" selves and their supervillain sides.

Poor Peter, too weak to send me home to die has literally been in my head since I saw the movie. Willem was amazing I’m really glad he came back. Easily one of the MVPs of the movie

The more I think about, the moreI come to realise that replacing the Statue of Liberty’s torch, with the Weapon of Americas most famous soldier is a tad facist-y isn’t it? Like I know it’s fictional and the people watching the films know Cap was the best dude ever but living in that universe I’d be a tad concerned.

@Twenty23Three - especially since whether it's The Battle of Ney York or Thanos, Tony was the real MVP of both those events and even sacrificed his life to kill Thanos and his army. Steve just kinda left to date his dream girl.

Why does Steve get a Statue of Liberty memorial face lift? Tony was the stand out, Tony and Nat.

So you know the decision to use Steve was 100% politically motivated.

@Twenty23Three - you’d be concerned that the guy who fought for liberty and justice for all even when that meant becoming a fugitive of the law or even fighting the government themselves had his shield replace a torch? I mean he also did this thing where he brought billions of people back from the dead

@ElricReturns - I was thinking this the entire time people were team cap. I honestly think that it's because of how well crafted the Russo brothers were at both making us love that arc, but at the end of the day, it's Tony that made the ultimate sacrifice. Cap would have though

@MyCoolYoung - Yeah. I don't see ANY problem on imagining such an incredible feat (restoring half population of the world after 5 years) would result in people creating statues and such to honor the heroes. It would be nuts.

@THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - definitely did He had an assist from lizard but yeah Tom had nothing for him in that match but then it became personal and I believe Tom stopped pulling punches

Really enjoyed the third act, but I wish that Green Goblin arrived a bit earlier and have a bit more to do with the other villains during that last fight.

It's amazing that despite appearing all of the Raimi films and being highly recognized for those performances, Willem might've just now given his best Goblin act yet.

Oh wow, I LOVE that suit they had for Andrew. It's like the perfect combination of the TASM and TASM 2 suit. Wish they would have stuck with it.
