As we all know, in the actual Dragon Ball universe, Bardock dies after Frieza unleashes his attack on him. However, in this “what-if” spin-off sequel to the Dragon Ball Z Bardock – The Father of Goku special, Bardock survives Frieza’s attack and the manga covers a part of his life from that point forward.
Anyways, the scan below previews the special and introduces the characters – Bardock, Toobi, Kyabira, Ipana and Berry. The special is actually streaming online for free today (December 19) on the Bandai Channel website. It is, however, region-locked and limited to Japanese viewers only. We’re sure though it will make it’s way to the rest of us sooner or later!
