MTV has seemed to have gotten their hands on ten minutes of the opening sequence for the third installment in the Death Note movie series, "Death Note: L, Change the World," based on the popular Manga comic.

I haven't seen the ten minute teaser, as I haven't made it through the second movie yet, Death Note: The Last Name. My wife and I purchased it this past weekend and are hoping to find time to watch it soon! We are both huge fans of the anime series which airs on Adult Swim, and if Last Name and Change the World are anything like the first live action movie, they are freaking spectacular!

If you have never heard of Death Note, MTV gives a short synopsis saying, "the saga chronicles the cat-and-mouse pursuit of a brilliant killer empowered by a 'death god' to snuff out the lives of anyone whose name he knows — and the bizarre, yet equally cunning figure tasked with bringing the murderer to justice."

You can also check out a review of the first and second Death Note live action films by the Media Geek himself, Dennis Gross, HERE.

And you can check out the ten minute movie clip HERE.
