Crunchyroll released a slew of details regarding the second season of the popular Jujutsu Kaisen anime, including when it will premiere, the Japanese voice actors, what languages dubs will be available in, a new poster, and two new wallpapers.
Jujutsu Kaisen fans will be thrilled to learn that Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will begin streaming exclusively on Crunchyroll beginning July 6. The highly anticipated second season will continue where the first season ended, the conclusion of the "Death Painting Arc".
Season 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen be divided into two arcs. The initial story arc, "Hidden Inventory / Premature Death", will delve into Gojo's and Geto's past, unraveling the secrets from Gojo’s time as a student at Tokyo Jujutsu High. This plotline spans the 65th to 79th chapters of the manga.
The narrative will then shift to the "Shibuya Incident Arc", capturing the events that unfolded after the first season.
Fans can expect to see some familiar faces during the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen, including the show's core characters. Fans will also see the introduction of Yuta Okkotsu, a fellow apprentice jujutsu sorcerer.
Riko Amanai, who appears in the Gojo's past arc, and who plays a significant role in the unfolding story, will also be introduced.
Anime studio MAPPA returns to produce the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen. Notably, Shōta Goshozono, known for his work on the first season and other MAPPA-produced anime such as Ranking of Kings and Chainsaw Man, takes over as the series director.
Screenwriter Hiroshi Seko, who penned Jujutsu Kaisen season 1 and the feature-length film Jujutsu Kaisen 0, is back to pen the script for the second season. Composer Yoshimasa Terui will once again craft the music, with Sayaka Koiso and Tadashi Hiramatsu designing the characters.
The Japanese voice cast and characters include Yuichi Nakamura (Satoru Gojo), Takahiro Sakurai (Suguru Geto), Anna Nagase (Riko Amanai), Takehito Koyasu (Tojo Fushiguro), and Aya Endo (Shoko Leiri).
Subtitles and dubs for Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 will include English, Latin American Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, French, German, italian, Castilian Spanish, and Russian. Premiere dates for the dubbed versions have not yet been announced.

The official Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 Synopsis reads: This is the innocent spring that the two strongest lost forever. Itadori Yuji took Ryomen Sukuna into his own body in June 2018. Okkotsu Yuta freed Orimoto Rika from her curse in December 2017. And now it's spring 2006. Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru, two peerless jujutsu sorcerers from Jujutsu High, have been given two missions by Tengen, an immortal known as the cornerstone of the jujutsu community. One mission is the escorting and erasure of the "Star Plasma Vessel", Amanai Riko, the girl chosen as the best match to merge with Tengen. So the two of them set out on their escort mission in order to keep the jujutsu community going, but an assassin calling himself Fushiguro interferes in an attempt to assassinate the Star Plasma Vessel. The pasts of Gojo and Geto, the ones who would later be known as the most powerful jujutsu sorcerer and the most evil curse user, are about to be revealed…
