The film Adaptation of popular manga “Gantz” will be released in early 2011 and presented in two parts.

Directed by Shinsuke Sato, Gantz stars Japanese superstars Kazunari Ninomiya and Kenichi Matsuyama as the titular roles in this supernatural, sci-fi, action film. Fathom Events will be presenting the first film on January 20th in select theaters with an English overdub.

Ranger14- Hmmm... i'm still trying to figure out why when i hear or read "gantz", i think of Berzerker. What was the actual berzerker's name in that show again? It been so long...

@Shaman, the main character in Bersker's name was Guts, maybe that's why it sounds familiar, they're very similar

omg!!!!!!! im a 100% fan of this shitt...i saw the 23 episodes of the great series...and still reading the mangas....dammm..this is a really kickass story...cant wait 2 see that.... i hope they make a holliwood adaptation...this story hav great potential....i recomend this to all you guys...great find men... :)

The manga has just got nonsensical and the ending of the anime was just awful, where is this up to, anyone?

hopefully one day hollywood will start taking manga/anime seriously and respect the source material, so many mangas have potential to be a BIG blockbuster movie
