Avengers: Doomsday is on course to break all manner of box office records this December, and Marvel Studios will continue to build hype for the movie by launching an official podcast.
Countdown to Avengers: Doomsday Official Podcast will "take fans behind the scenes of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, revisiting all the major moments leading up to Doomsday," and is hosted by Frank Alvarez and The Marvels star Iman Vellani.
They'll be rewatching The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame across five episodes, recapping all the fan-favourite moments and discussing each film's cultural legacy. It sounds like a fun ride for fans, and who knows, we may even get some Avengers: Doomsday insights along the way (Vellani is rumoured to reprise her role in the movie).
The first episode will launch August 27, with new episodes airing weekly. The fifth episode, which discusses Marvel Studios' Avengers: Endgame, will coincide with the September 25 re-release of Avengers: Endgame Encore in theatres.
The Countdown to Avengers: Doomsday Official Podcast will be available on Disney+ and YouTube, with the audio-only version available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or wherever you get your podcasts.
We've had four teaser trailers, a full trailer, and a special look, but Marvel Studios will likely intensify the marketing campaign as we get closer to December. There are rumblings that only one more trailer is coming, and that it will feature much bigger reveals, but we'll keep you updated as we learn more.
