Deadpool Star Ryan Reynolds Shows Off Black & Grey 'Jeanpool' Suit After Crashing Avengers: Doomsday Panel

After crashing last night's Avengers: Doomsday panel, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds shared a hi-res photo of his 'Jeanpool' suit, offering a far more detailed look at the new black-and-grey costume.

During last night's epic Avengers: Doomsday panel, there was an unexpected guest in the audience: Deadpool & Wolverine star Ryan Reynolds! In full costume, Reynolds gate-crashed the event and asked Earth's Mightiest Heroes a few questions that were met with laughs and cheers.

Following the appearance, Reynolds shared a few behind-the-scenes photos of himself wearing the black-and-grey suit, naming it 'Jeanpool,' and revealing how he spent the whole day wandering San Diego Comic-Con and taking photos with unsuspecting fans before his big appearance in Hall H.

While Kevin Feige stopped short of confirming Deadpool's involvement in the new movie, Reynolds did seemingly allude to possibly being a late addition to the massive crossover flick. He first asked the Russo Brothers and the Doomsday cast when they would begin filming, to which Robert Downey Jr. cheekily replied they'd already wrapped. A disappointed Deadpool then asked, "So there’s no additional photography, no overages, maybe last-minute additions...?," leaving the audience laughing and speculating whether that was a subtle confirmation.

There's been ample buzz that both Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman will reprise their roles as Deadpool and Wolverine in the opening of Avengers: Doomsday, possibly appearing opposite Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man. While that is certainly an exciting prospect, there hasn't been anything yet to confirm this will indeed be the case.

Check out the 'Jeanpool' suit below:

Avengers: Doomsday is expected to feature Robert Downey Jr. ("Victor von Doom / Doctor Doom"), Chris Evans ("Steve Rogers"), Chris Hemsworth ("Thor"), Pedro Pascal ("Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic"), Paul Rudd ("Scott Lang / Ant-Man"), Anthony Mackie ("Sam Wilson / Captain America"), Florence Pugh ("Yelena Belova"), Vanessa Kirby ("Sue Storm / Invisible Woman"), Ebon Moss-Bachrach ("Ben Grimm / The Thing"), Wyatt Russell ("John Walker / U.S. Agent"), Channing Tatum ("Remy LeBeau / Gambit"), Simu Liu ("Xu Shang-Chi"), Ian McKellen ("Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto"), Tom Hiddleston ("Loki"), James Marsden ("Scott Summers / Cyclops"), Patrick Stewart ("Charles Xavier / Professor X"), Joseph Quinn ("Johnny Storm / Human Torch"), Sebastian Stan ("Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier"), David Harbour ("Alexei Shostakov / Red Guardian"), Letitia Wright ("Shuri / Black Panther"), Lewis Pullman ("Bob Reynolds / Sentry"), Kelsey Grammer ("Hank McCoy / Beast"), Danny Ramirez ("Joaquin Torres / Falcon"), Winston Duke ("M'Baku"), Alan Cumming ("Kurt Wagner / Nightcrawler"), Hannah John-Kamen ("Ava Starr / Ghost"), Rebecca Romijn ("Raven Darkhölme / Mystique"), Alex Livinalli ("Attuma"), Mabel Cadena ("Namora"), Tenoch Huerta Mejía ("Namor"), India Rose Hemsworth ("Love"), Kathryn Newton ("Cassie Lang"), Benedict Cumberbatch ("Dr. Stephen Strange / Doctor Strange"), and Hayley Atwell ("Peggy Carter").

The Russo Brothers helmed the blockbuster, with a screenplay from Michael Waldron and Stephen McFeely. The Russos are also attached as producers alongside Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige and Jonathan Schwartz, with Louis D'Esposito and Callum McDougall onboard as executive producers.

In Avengers: Doomsday, beloved heroes from three distinct universes will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.

Am I the only one who is sick of Reynolds?

@DocSpock - in general?

@DocSpock - I kinda grew up with Ryan Reynolds in my life. I first saw him on the X-Files, then in the original Sabrina the Teenage Witch flick that inspired the show, then Two Guys and a Girl, Then Van Wilder.

So, I can say I know where you come from because I got sick of him around the Just Friends, Ammetty Vill Horror (spelling?), Blade Trinity and Green Lantern era.

But honestly I've enjoyed-to-loved almost all of his stuff in the past decade or so, save Red Notice :shivers:

But Fall Guy, The Adam Project, Detective Pikachu (I'm as shocked as you that I enjoyed it), Hitman's Bodyguard films, and most of the Deadpool stuff has all been pretty good to great. I think people sleep on the Adam Project, that films actually a very emotional concept for and action sci fi movie and all the acting of basically the whole cast is great to spectacular. It's my favorite Jennifer Garner performance of her career.

But maybe I'm also just simping for Reynolds because I think I'm about to make the switch to Mint Mobile.

@TemporarilyHere - I swear, the interviewer never finished his thought or actually asked a question. And anyone would have reacted the same way to break the awkward silence.

@SpiderParker -

Most of those interviewers going for a gotcha don't even know the half of it. There's a reason Josh Horowitz remains one of the most beloved when it comes to A-list interviews. You can tell the actors are genuinely happy to discuss their upcoming projects with him.

But also, even if her role is a common secret at this point, Sadie's been handling those moments like a champ. Especially as a newcomer to the franchise.
SpiderParker
SpiderParker - 7/27/2026, 3:33 AM
@TemporarilyHere - Agreed.

But I seriously doubt Sadie is playing Jean. I would rather put my money on Gwen Stacy than Jean Grey at this point.

@SpiderParker -

The only thing holding me back from buying into the mutant hype is her role as a villain. Especially if she unleashes the Hulk and mentally violates all those people like we see her doing casually in the trailer.
SpiderParker
SpiderParker - 7/27/2026, 7:14 AM
@TemporarilyHere - Perhaps she is investigating who is behind it all in her own way as Spider-Gwen of Earth-828. Or maybe she is one of Doom's Latverian Witches, setting things up for Doomsday. Jean seems a little too obvious, which makes her more unlikely.

PS: Now that I think about it, Norman Osborn is probably an Earth-828 character who will cross over after Secret Wars.

I don't think Ratner is intelligent enough to deliberately sabotage anyone or anything.

He's just that incompetent.

@UltimaRex -

It's a quickie, right before the moment Logan manages to change the timeline, but technically he bites the bullet there too, so I think it counts.

Am argument could be made about not actually seeing him dead therefore not counting, but I think the joke works better if we go by the implication that he's offed there too, you know?

Now that I’ve made that joke, I realize he DID have a Canada flag patch on the costume, so maybe that was the joke all along…

I have to agree with a few others on here stating that his shtick is getting a bit old..!
He needs to take a few steps back & maybe settle into a producer role for a while to let his persona cool down a bit...! ☮️👍
