Though Marvel Studios did release four character-focused Avengers: Doomsday vignettes (see below), we have yet to see a proper teaser for the next major MCU event movie.
There's been speculation that a full trailer could debut during CinemaCon next month, but we might just get a glimpse of Earth's Mightiest Heroes facing off against Doctor Doom a lot sooner.
Scooper Daniel Richtman is reporting that a "big Disney trailer and poster" are set to drop on Monday, April 6. He speculates that it could be either Doomsday or Ridley Scott's The Dog Stars, starring Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin and Margaret Qualley.
For what it's worth, several other online scoopers have also weighed in, and they seem to be leaning towards the latter.
If it is Doomsday, we'd be very surprised if Marvel released the trailer without any fanfare, so we'll likely find out for certain over the weekend.
In related news, a listing for the first wave of Doomsday Funko POPs has been released. Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom will be included, but the rest of the characters have already been confirmed to appear (wave 2 may reveal a few surprises).
Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars were hit with significant delays last year, with Doomsday now set to arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026, and Secret Wars positioned for December 17, 2027.
Both movies will be directed by the Russo brothers, who also make their MCU return after helming Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame.
"Being able to create stories and explore characters within the Marvel Universe fulfilled a life-long dream of ours, and we discovered a powerful connection with audiences in each film that we made.
